Premier League GW 28 – Weekly Monster Preview

Team of the Week

My auto-pick team is West Ham. Solskjær confirmed that Rashford and Cavani will miss the game while Martial went off injured in the Europa League game against Milan. If it’s not the best time to exploit the weakness of the Reds then when is it? Especially if the team plays much worse at home than away.

Cresswell+Dawsonis a great duo.  Aaron takes corners while Craig wins all the headers and scores goals – he already has 3 in just 12 games. Antonio will complete the trio – his numbers aren’t great but he still is a top pick, especially at his price.

Spurs agains Arsenal is going to be very interesting game and here I can’t get through Tottenham assets. The team is playing much better in the last 4 games – seems like Bale renaissance helped others to feel less pressure. So here I want to go with a standard Kane Son pick. I expect more people follow the hypetrain and go for Bale – and I can’t blame them. But Son has decent numbers and still offers a great threat not only shooting but creating 14 chances (6 big chances) in the last 4 games while also guaranteeing a full-time compared to the Welshman. Kane had an ice on his leg after the Zagreb game, but Mourinho said he is going to be fine. If not – I’ll switch to Bale. Reguilon will complete my Spurs stack – he is very active going forward with 5 shots in 3 games and the most toches in the opposite box from all Spurs defenders.

Leicester are playing Sheffield and I dont expect them to score a lot of goals without Barnes and Maddison. But I believe that they can get a cleansheet and if Pereira can get us a bonus of a goal or assist – it would be great. The Portugese offers greatest attacking threat in the team with 5 shots and 3 chances created in the last 4 games. He plays much higher than Castagne who can’t get to his best fitness since the injury. Schmeichel won’t get lots of saves but I need a keeper so… Vardy seems like a good way to close this stack.

Man City will be my final stack. Mahrez is on fire right now getting full-time after full-time, scoring goals and assisting. He is second-best player in the team by shots and chances created after KDB and is leading the way with 32 touches in opponent boxes in the last 4 games. So I wanna grab both of them and hope that Pep Roulette will have mercy on me. If not – it’s okay, I’ll have Gundogan and Foden with Silva as safety net options.

Captain: That’s a tough one. Guess it will be a last-minute call, but for now, let it be Mahrez with Kane VC.
